Dakota Valley Elementary School was established in 1998-1999. This school is included in [[Arapahoe County]] [[Cherry Creek School District]]. Three schools that aren't too far away from this school are [[Sky Vista Middle School]], [[Eaglecreast High School]], and [[Thunderidge Middle School]]. Dakota Valley has yearly walk-a-thons, field day, spelling bees, talent shows, tukey trot, and a lot of other fun activities. The school is a regular preK- 5th grade school. Each grade (not including PreK and K) has a play. The 5th graders always have a continuation to show that they are going to middle school. Mostly Sky Vista Middle School. The test scores are advanced/ higher than most elementary schools, such as Vassar Elementary, in the Cherry Creek School District. This is one of the greatest schools on earth. This school also has tracks A-D tracks. They also have 3-week track- offs for each track.
