I’ve been trying to get more into Character Design and finding ways to practice my art. So why not combine the two?

This originally started as one character with the one on the left. I wanted to make a character that combines cooking with a large round body type. I wanted to give him a straw hat that would cover the top of his face and have his ears flow out of the back. I felt that the large body would cover up his ears so I came up with the female samurai who could be his sister.

I might draw more of them if I get any other ideas.
